Product Mockups

We were to design packaging for a single type shaving cream three ways, one female, one male, and one gender-neutral. All three packaging ideas needed to be systematic and covey that they are a cohesive line of products. This project was to be completed in 60 minutes. We were to come up with a name for the shaving cream brand and a logo for that brand as well. I chose space as my main topic and used different areas of space to design the shaving cream packaging. Nebula for the female design, Deep space for the male design, and Milky way for the gender-neutral design. I chose he name Orbit because its fun and follows the space theme. Having the “O” be the path the little moon takes through the name makes the logo feel three-dimensional.

We were to create merchandise for a band called Slusher as a way to create a well-rounded website and brand. After I created the logo, tagline, and colour scheme I applied them to different wearables and ephemera that would be sold at concerts or on their website. Keeping in mind the brand and the types of merchandise their fans would, I chose a t-shirt, long sleeve, beanie, and tot bag. These items would also be cost effective for the band.

We were to create wearables and ephemera for our own personal brand that would fit in with our line of work. I chose a sweater, a t-shirt, and a coffee mug. This would showcase my personal brand without breaking the bank. After creating the brand and logos designs, I thought each item needed a different version of my logo. The symbolmark on the sweater, the emblem on the coffee mug, and the combomark on the t-shirt.
